《箭厂窟》－掉队小组作品 |
北京艺术家团体“掉队”将在2011年10月22日在箭厂空间向公众展示他们最新的作品：覆盖空间内部墙面的大型壁画。在过去的一个月中，“掉队”小组的七名成员——陈昕鹏、董菁、梁硕、邵康、王光乐、张兆宏和周翊——在箭厂空间内部的三面墙壁和天花板上绘制出主题丰富的壁画，使空间带上一种古代中国佛教石窟的味道。七名艺术家根据各自的日程安排轮流到空间进行现场创作，不限主题，不限风格，一切都是即兴发挥。在此过程中箭厂空间完全尊重艺术家的原创性，没有进行任何干预。 “掉队”是来自北京的一个松散的艺术家团体。他们以一种自娱自乐的态度开展各种项目，其创作涉足视觉艺术在内的一系列领域。 |
Arrow Factory Grotto - Diao Dui Collective |
| Beijing based collective Diao Dui unveils their latest creation: a large-scale mural painting covering the interior of Arrow Factory. For the last month, seven members of Diao Dui— CHEN Xinpeng, DONG Jing, LIANG Shuo, SHAO Kang, WANG Guangle, ZHANG Zhaohong, and ZHOU Yi —have been working on-site to produce a multi-themed mural that stretches across all three walls and the ceiling of Arrow Factory in a format reminiscent of Buddhist cave paintings. The eclectic subject matter and stylistic execution has been developed extemporaneously by each artist as they work on-site in shifts according to their own sporadic schedules. Minimal input and assistance has been provided by Arrow Factory. Diao Dui is an informal artistic collective based in Beijing. Diao Dui’s activities embrace an attitude of self-directed recreation and leisure and include but are not limited the field of visual art. |
